🇹🇭Thailand🇰🇬KyrgyzstanTH-KG Thailand to Kyrgyzstan visa requirements
Thai ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Kyrgyzstan. Thailand is one of the 55 countries on Kyrgyzstan's unilateral visa-free list, allowing a stay of up to 30 days within any 60-day period. As of 2026, holders of an ordinary Thailand passport can enter Kyrgyzstan visa-free for tourism, business, or transit. Thailand was added as the 55th country on Kyrgyzstan's unilateral visa-exemption list, which grants a maximum stay of 30 calendar days within each 60-day period counted from the date of entry. No advance application, e-visa, or visa-on-arrival is needed for this short stay. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended stay and should carry proof of onward/return travel and accommodation. Note that a separate Kyrgyzstan-Thailand bilateral agreement signed in September 2024 (in force January 2026) covers only diplomatic and service passport holders (90 days) and does not affect ordinary tourists, who rely on the 30-day unilateral exemption. For stays longer than 30 days or for work/study, an e-visa (via evisa.e-gov.kg) or a consular visa is required. Overstaying carries fines and possible entry bans, so travelers should leave or formally extend before the 30-day limit.
