Do Thailand passport holders need a visa to visit Indonesia?

Visa-free up to 30 days under ASEAN reciprocity. SatuSehat declaration required. Thai ordinary passport holders enter Indonesia visa-free for up to 30 days per entry under the ASEAN reciprocal visa exemption agreement. The exemption covers tourism, business meetings, family visits, and transit. The 30-day stay cannot be extended in-country on the visa-free pass — for longer stays travellers can instead take the Visa on Arrival (IDR 500,000) which provides 30 days plus one in-country extension of 30 more days. All foreign visitors must complete the free SatuSehat health declaration online before arrival. Thai-Indonesian travel is particularly popular for Bali, Jakarta, and Yogyakarta — Bali charges an additional IDR 150,000 tourism levy on entry. For work, study, journalism, or stays beyond 30 days the corresponding Indonesian visa is required at the embassy in Bangkok.
