🇹🇭Thailand🇭🇰Hong Kong (SAR China)TH-HK Thailand to Hong Kong (SAR China) visa requirements
No visa needed. Thai ordinary passport holders can visit Hong Kong visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism. Holders of an ordinary Thailand passport do not need a visa to visit Hong Kong for tourism or other short visits. The Hong Kong Immigration Department lists Thailand among nationalities eligible for visa-free visits not exceeding 30 days. Thai nationals may enter and stay for up to 30 days without any prior visa application, electronic travel authorization, registration, or fee. You simply arrive with a valid passport, a return or onward ticket unless transiting to mainland China or Macao, and proof of sufficient funds, and an immigration officer grants the permitted stay on arrival. Hong Kong normally issues a landing slip instead of stamping passports, and the Immigration Department says arrival and departure cards are not required. Visitors must not work (paid or unpaid), run a business, or study while in Hong Kong on a visitor entry. This arrangement remains current as of 2026-06-29.
