Thailand to Fiji visa requirements

Thai ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Fiji. Thailand is on Fiji's official visa-exempt list, and travelers receive a free Visitor Permit of up to 4 months on arrival. Thailand is one of the nationalities listed as visa-exempt by Fiji's Ministry of Immigration. A Thai ordinary passport holder traveling to Fiji for tourism or a short visit does not need to apply for any visa in advance. On arrival at Nadi or Nausori International Airport, immigration officers issue a Visitor Permit valid for up to 4 months, free of charge, provided the traveler meets standard entry conditions (passport valid 6+ months, confirmed onward/return ticket, accommodation details, and proof of sufficient funds). The permit can be extended once at the Fiji Immigration office for up to a further 2 months on application and payment of the extension fee, giving a maximum tourist stay of 6 months. Fiji is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. There is no eVisa, ETA or visa-on-arrival fee for eligible visa-exempt tourists. This verdict is verified against the Fiji Ministry of Immigration's visa-exempted countries list and Visit Fiji pages (consulted 2026-06-01).
