Thailand to Algeria visa requirements

Thai ordinary passport holders need a visa to enter Algeria. There is no visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or eVisa channel for Thai citizens, so you must obtain a consular (sticker) tourist visa in advance. A Thailand (TH) ordinary passport holder traveling to Algeria (DZ) for tourism requires a visa obtained before departure. A limited visa-on-arrival exists only for travelers on tours organized by an approved Algerian travel agency whose itinerary covers designated southern (Saharan) provinces; this is not the standard route for a general tourist and still depends on agency sponsorship. Consequently, the reliable channel for Thai tourists is a consular tourist visa, applied for in advance through an accredited Algerian diplomatic mission. Note that Algeria has no resident embassy in Bangkok, so Thai applicants generally apply through the nearest accredited Algerian mission (for example, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which is accredited to Thailand) or another competent consulate. Requirements typically include a valid passport (6 months validity, 2 blank pages), a completed application form, photos, confirmed round-trip flights, hotel bookings or an invitation, proof of funds, and the consular fee. Processing is commonly around 8 to 10 working days, with stays issued up to 90 days. Issuance is at the discretion of the Algerian authorities, and submitting the documents does not guarantee a visa.
