Thailand to Cameroon visa requirements

Thai (Thailand ordinary) passport holders need a visa for Cameroon. The standard route is the official Cameroon eVisa, applied online before travel; final biometric enrollment and the physical visa sticker are completed at the port of entry on arrival. Cameroon is not visa-free for Thai citizens and there is no mutual visa-waiver agreement. Since the introduction of the national electronic visa system (evisacam.cm, operated under Cameroon's Ministry of External Relations / DGSN), nearly all foreign travelers including Thai nationals must obtain an eVisa before departure. The process is fully online: applicants register an account, complete the form, upload supporting documents, and pay the consular fee. Within roughly 48-72 hours an electronic visa authorization with a QR code is issued. On arrival at a designated port of entry (such as Douala or Yaoundé-Nsimalen airports), biometric data is captured and the physical visa sticker is affixed in the passport. The short-stay visa typically permits up to 30 days and the authorization document is valid for entry within a set window. There is no longer a traditional "land at the airport with no prior approval" visa-on-arrival; pre-application online is required. Travelers should also carry a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate, which Cameroon requires of all arrivals.
