Singapore to Uruguay visa requirements

Singapore ordinary passport holders can travel to Uruguay visa-free for tourism and short visits, with stays of up to 90 days (extendable by a further 90 days). A Singaporean ordinary passport holder does NOT need a visa to visit Uruguay for tourism or other short stays. Uruguay's official Ministry of Interior visa regime lists Singapore ("Singapur") as "No necesita Visa" for common, diplomatic and service passports alike. On arrival, travelers are admitted for up to 90 days, which can be extended once for an additional 90 days through Uruguay's National Directorate of Migration (Dirección Nacional de Migración). Uruguay is in South America and is NOT part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. There is no eVisa, no electronic travel authorization, and no entry fee for visa-free tourist admission. Travelers should carry a passport valid for the duration of stay (6 months recommended), proof of onward/return travel, accommodation details and evidence of sufficient funds, as these may be requested by border officials. Visa-free entry covers tourism and short visits only — paid work, study or long-term residence require the appropriate visa or residency permit.
