Singapore to Syria visa requirements

Singapore ordinary passport holders need a visa to enter Syria. There is no visa-free entry and no working eVisa. In practice you must obtain prior entry approval (security clearance, arranged through a Syrian-licensed tour operator/sponsor) before boarding a flight, then pay the visa fee in USD cash on arrival at Damascus or Aleppo airport. Singapore's MFA also advises Singaporeans to defer all travel to Syria. A Singapore (SG) ordinary passport is visa-required for Syria as of mid-2026. Once approved, the visa itself is issued and paid for on arrival, in US-dollar cash. Fee tiers vary by nationality and visa type; Singapore generally falls in the roughly US$40-US$75 band (transit/15-day vs single-entry one-month), with a stamp placed in the passport (valid about 15 days to one month). Any sign of Israeli travel (Israeli stamps or entry via Israel-Egypt/Israel-Jordan crossings), or Israeli nationality, results in refused entry. Separately, Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises citizens to defer all travel to Syria due to the security situation, so beyond the visa formalities this is a high-risk destination. Because sources are travel-operator based rather than a single official portal and the policy is fluid, travellers should confirm with a licensed Syrian sponsor/agency immediately before booking.
