🇸🇦Saudi Arabia🇺🇿UzbekistanSA-UZ Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan visa requirements
Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders can enter Uzbekistan visa-free for tourism and short visits of up to 30 days. No visa or e-visa is required for stays within this limit. For longer stays, an e-visa or regular visa is required. Uzbekistan grants visa-free entry to citizens of Saudi Arabia for stays of up to 30 days, a regime that took effect on 1 January 2023 following a decree signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on 16 August 2022. Saudi nationals on an ordinary passport may travel for tourism, business, family visits or transit without obtaining any visa in advance, provided their stay does not exceed 30 days and their passport is valid. Uzbekistan is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. Travelers should hold a passport valid for the duration of stay (six months recommended), confirmed onward or return travel, and proof of accommodation. Immigration officials may ask to see a confirmed flight booking out of Uzbekistan within 30 days; bus or train tickets alone may not be accepted at airport immigration. Visitors must observe Uzbekistan's registration rules: those staying in hotels are registered automatically, while those in private accommodation must register with local authorities (or via the Emehmon online system) within three working days of arrival. If a Saudi traveler intends to stay longer than 30 days or needs multiple entries beyond the visa-free terms, an e-visa via e-visa.gov.uz (USD 20 single, USD 35 double, USD 50 multiple; valid 90 days, up to 30 days stay) or a regular visa is the appropriate route.
