Saudi Arabia to Suriname visa requirements

Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders do NOT need a traditional visa for a short tourist trip to Suriname, but they MUST obtain a Suriname e-Tourist Card (entry fee permit) online before arrival via the official VFS Global portal. The fee is USD 50 / EUR 50, it permits a single entry and a stay of up to 90 days. There is no visa-on-arrival and no fully visa-free walk-up entry for Saudi passports. Suriname operates a tiered entry system. A small group of (mostly CARICOM) nationalities is fully visa-exempt; a list of 21 nationalities (e.g. India, Pakistan, Egypt, Nigeria) must obtain a full e-Visa; everyone else, including Saudi Arabia, travels under the "visa exemption with entry fee" channel, which in practice means buying an online e-Tourist Card before flying. Saudi Arabia is NOT on the 21-country e-visa-required list and NOT on the fully visa-exempt list, so it falls into this online entry-permit group. The e-Tourist Card is purchased on the official VFS Global portal (suriname.vfsevisa.com) for USD 50 / EUR 50, is single-entry, and allows a tourist stay of up to 90 days; passports must be valid at least six months with a blank page. Processing is typically up to 72 hours, so applying about a week ahead is advised. Suriname is in South America, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Travelers should carry a printed copy of the approved e-Tourist Card, a return/onward ticket and proof of accommodation, as these are checked at the border. Because this is a mandatory pre-arrival electronic authorization rather than a passport-free entry, the route is classified as an e-visa-type requirement; treat it as such and never rely on getting it at the airport.
