🇸🇦Saudi Arabia🇸🇳SenegalSA-SN Saudi Arabia to Senegal visa requirements
Yes, a Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holder needs a visa to visit Senegal for tourism. Saudi nationals are not on Senegal's visa-exemption list (among Middle Eastern states, only the UAE is exempt). You must obtain a consular/embassy visa in advance before travel. A national e-visa was approved by Senegal's government in July 2025 but is not yet confirmed operational, so plan on the embassy/consular route. Senegal grants visa-free entry to roughly 60 nationalities (ECOWAS members, most of Europe, the UK, USA, Canada, Brazil, India and a handful of others) for stays up to 90 days. Saudi Arabia is not among them; for Middle Eastern countries, only the United Arab Emirates currently enjoys visa-free access. A Saudi ordinary passport holder must therefore obtain a Senegalese tourist visa from a Senegalese embassy or consulate before departure. Consular short-stay tourist visas are typically issued as single entry for up to one or two months, with modest consular fees. Senegal's Council of Ministers adopted an electronic visa policy on 30 July 2025 as a reciprocity measure targeting nationals of countries that require visas from Senegalese citizens, but as of mid-2026 the e-visa portal, pricing and practical procedures have not been confirmed as fully operational, so travelers should continue using the consular channel and verify status shortly before travel. Senegal is in West Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. A passport valid at least six months and proof of yellow fever vaccination are standard entry requirements.
