Saudi Arabia to Serbia visa requirements

Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders need a visa to visit Serbia. The easiest route is Serbia's eVisa (Digital Travel Authorization), launched 23 April 2025, for a Type C short stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Note: a separate visa-free channel applies if you hold a valid Schengen, EU, UK, US or Ireland visa or residence permit. A Saudi Arabia (SA) ordinary passport holder is not on Serbia's visa-exempt list and therefore requires a visa for tourism or a short visit. Since 23 April 2025, Serbia issues a "Digital Travel Authorization" (eVisa) online through the official welcometoserbia.gov.rs portal, which is the recommended and most convenient channel for a short stay. The relevant category is the Type C (short-stay) visa, permitting entry, transit, or stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. The standard Type C visa fee is EUR 90, payable in Serbian dinar (RSD) at the National Bank of Serbia middle exchange rate. Serbia is NOT part of the Schengen Area (it is an EU candidate, not a member), so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to entry into Serbia itself; the Serbian 90/180 limit is administered nationally. Importantly, a Saudi citizen who holds a valid visa or residence permit from a Schengen Area state, an EU member state, the United Kingdom, Ireland, or the United States may enter Serbia visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Travelers without such a document should apply for the Serbian eVisa or a visa at a Serbian diplomatic mission before departure. Conservatively, the verdict is eVisa, since this is the channel that lets a typical Saudi passport holder enter for tourism without visiting an embassy.
