🇸🇦Saudi Arabia🇵🇰PakistanSA-PK Saudi Arabia to Pakistan visa requirements
Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders can visit Pakistan with a 30-day multiple-entry Visa on Arrival, or alternatively apply for Pakistan's online eVisa beforehand. No visa needs to be arranged in advance for a short tourist trip. As of mid-2026, Saudi Arabia is one of a small privileged group of countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and the UAE) whose nationals are granted a 30-day multiple-entry Visa on Arrival in Pakistan. Saudi ordinary passport holders therefore do not need to obtain a visa before travelling for a short tourist visit. Two practical no-advance-visa channels exist: (1) Visa on Arrival at major international airports, generally augmented by an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) submitted 48-72 hours before travel, and (2) the Pakistan Online Visa System (POVS), now hosted at visa.nadra.gov.pk, where Saudi Arabia is among the 175 eVisa-eligible countries. For the tourist category Saudi nationals are not charged a visa fee (work visas excepted), although the application/portal step still applies. We recommend applying for the eVisa/ETA online in advance to guarantee smooth entry, since immigration officers retain discretion over on-arrival admission. Pakistan is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Conservatively, the verdict is voa because Saudi passport holders can enter without a pre-arranged consular visa, but travelers should carry confirmation of hotel booking and a return ticket and check the official portal close to departure as policy is updated periodically.
