Saudi Arabia to Malaysia visa requirements

Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Malaysia. They receive a Social Visit Pass of up to 90 days on arrival, but must complete the free online Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) before travel. Saudi Arabian ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to Malaysia for tourism, business meetings, and social visits. On arrival, immigration grants a Social Visit Pass valid for up to 90 days. Unlike Indian and Chinese nationals (who get a 30-day visa exemption under the 2023-2026 liberalisation plan), Saudi nationals fall under Malaysia's standard 90-day visa exemption that covers around 180 countries/territories. Malaysia's eTA program applies only to Indian and Chinese citizens, so Saudis do not need an eTA. The one mandatory pre-travel step for almost all foreign visitors, including Saudis, is the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC), a free online form to be submitted within 3 days before arrival. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry, machine-readable, undamaged, and have at least two blank pages. Saudi nationals are also among the GCC nationalities eligible for autogate (automated immigration clearance) facilities at major airports, subject to MDAC submission. No visa fee applies. Travelers should carry proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds, as these can be requested at the border.
