Saudi Arabia to Mali visa requirements

Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders need a visa for Mali. Since 2025, Mali offers an official eVisa via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal (diplomatiemdc.gouv.ml); a paper visa from the Mali Embassy in Riyadh or Consulate in Jeddah is the alternative. There is no visa-free or visa-on-arrival channel for Saudi nationals (only ECOWAS states and a short list including the UAE, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Mauritania are exempt). A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory. A Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holder cannot enter Mali without a visa. Mali's visa-exempt list covers ECOWAS members and a handful of others (Algeria, Mauritania, Morocco, Tunisia, UAE, Hong Kong, Macao); Saudi Arabia is not on it, and visa-on-arrival is currently limited to Rwandan nationals. The recommended route is Mali's official eVisa, launched in 2025 through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal at diplomatiemdc.gouv.ml: the applicant selects the tourism purpose, generates a reference code, uploads documents (passport copy, yellow fever certificate, hotel booking, return flight details, and for some categories an invitation letter), and pays the fee by bank transfer arranged with the assigned mission (for Saudi residents, the Riyadh embassy or Jeddah consulate). The eVisa allows a stay framed by the declared arrival and departure dates, up to roughly 90 days. Travelers who prefer or are directed to a traditional process can submit a paper application directly to the Mali Embassy in Riyadh or the Consulate in Jeddah. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is a hard entry requirement; the passport must be valid at least six months with a blank page. Because the portal does not yet provide online card payment and assigns each applicant to a specific mission for payment confirmation, travelers should start the process two to four weeks before departure.
