Saudi Arabia to Montenegro visa requirements

Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders can enter Montenegro visa-free for tourism, up to 30 days, with a valid passport. No visa, eVisa, or ETIAS is required (Montenegro is not in the Schengen area). As of 30 May 2026, holders of an ordinary Saudi Arabia passport do not need a visa to enter Montenegro for tourism or short visits. Under Montenegro's national visa policy, Saudi nationals are granted visa-free entry for up to 30 days per stay, year-round, with no requirement to travel in a tourist group. Montenegro is an EU candidate country but is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and the EU's ETIAS system do not apply to Montenegro entries; time spent in Montenegro does not count against a Schengen allowance. Travelers should hold a passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended departure date and should be ready to show proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds at the border. Note that Montenegro is gradually aligning its visa regime with EU common-visa-list rules as part of its accession roadmap; the visa-free arrangement for Saudi nationals could change before EU membership, so re-confirm with the Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs close to the travel date. For stays longer than 30 days or for non-tourist purposes (work, study, residence), a visa or residence permit must be obtained in advance.
