Saudi Arabia to Kazakhstan visa requirements

Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Kazakhstan. They may enter visa-free for up to 30 days per entry, with a cumulative limit of 90 days within any 180-day period. No visa, eVisa, or fee is required to enter. Kazakhstan grants visa-free entry to citizens of Saudi Arabia, a policy in force since September 2019 and maintained under the 2024 reaffirmed visa-free list. A Saudi ordinary passport holder may enter for tourism for up to 30 calendar days per entry, with multiple entries allowed but total stay capped at 90 days within any rolling 180-day window. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months and have blank pages; proof of onward travel and accommodation may be requested at the border. Kazakhstan does not require visa-free travelers to register separately at most international airports because arrival is logged automatically via the migration system, though hosts/hotels handle notification within 3 working days where applicable. Separately, Kazakhstan launched the QazETA mobile Electronic Travel Authorisation in July 2025; during the current pilot phase it is OPTIONAL and FREE for visa-exempt travelers, and authorities have signalled it will become mandatory and possibly chargeable (around USD 10) in the future. For a trip as of mid-2026, Saudi travelers can still board and enter visa-free without an ETA, but obtaining the free QazETA in advance is increasingly recommended. Because this is genuinely visa-free for short tourism, the total mandatory government cost is currently zero.
