🇸🇦Saudi Arabia🇰🇬KyrgyzstanSA-KG Saudi Arabia to Kyrgyzstan visa requirements
Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Kyrgyzstan. Under a special Gulf-states arrangement (effective January 4, 2025, retained under Resolution No. 855 from December 31, 2025), Saudi citizens may stay visa-free for up to 180 days within a 360-day period. Kyrgyzstan grants Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders visa-free entry for tourism. Unlike the general visa-waiver group (around 55 countries, now limited to 30 days within any 60-day period since the December 31, 2025 Resolution No. 855), the six Gulf Cooperation Council states — Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain — benefit from a separate, more generous framework allowing up to 180 days of visa-free stay within a 360-day rolling period. This Gulf regime was introduced from January 4, 2025 and is reserved for tourism, family/friend visits and similar short-term purposes; travel for employment, study or long-term residence still requires an appropriate visa. No advance application, e-visa or visa-on-arrival is needed for a tourist trip. Travellers simply present a passport valid for the duration of stay (carriers and immigration commonly expect at least six months' validity). Kyrgyzstan is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Foreigners staying beyond a set threshold (commonly cited as 60 days) should be aware of local registration rules, though short tourist stays are generally exempt. Because policies in the region have changed several times recently, travellers should reconfirm the rule with the official Kyrgyz e-visa portal or the nearest Kyrgyz mission shortly before departure.
