Saudi Arabia to Georgia visa requirements

Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Georgia. They may enter visa-free and stay for up to 1 year (360 days) for tourism. No visa or eVisa is required in advance. Holders of an ordinary Saudi Arabian passport enjoy one of Georgia's most generous visa-free regimes: they can enter and remain in Georgia for up to 1 full year (commonly cited as 360 days) within a single stay, without obtaining any visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival. This applies to tourism, business, and short visits at all official entry points (air, land, sea). Georgia is NOT part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. The only major recent change affecting Saudi (and all) travelers is a new mandatory travel/health insurance requirement effective 1 January 2026: every foreign visitor must hold a valid medical insurance policy covering the full duration of stay with minimum coverage of 30,000 GEL (about USD 11,000). Proof (paper or electronic, in Georgian or English) may be checked at the border, and travelers without it face a 300 GEL fine (with repeated violations risking deportation/entry ban). A passport valid for the duration of stay is required. Note: the visa-free privilege is for Saudi CITIZENS holding the passport; non-Saudi nationals merely residing in Saudi Arabia on an Iqama are subject to separate, tightened GCC-residency rules and should verify independently.
