Saudi Arabia to Dominican Republic visa requirements

Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders need a visa to enter the Dominican Republic for tourism. However, there is a major practical exemption: anyone holding a valid US, Canada, UK, or Schengen visa or residence permit may enter visa-free for up to 30 days. All air/sea travelers must also complete the free electronic eTicket before arrival. Saudi Arabia is not on the Dominican Republic's visa-exempt list, so a Saudi ordinary passport holder is technically required to obtain a tourist visa from a Dominican consulate before travel. The crucial exception is the Dominican Republic's third-country visa-waiver policy: any traveler, regardless of nationality, who holds a valid (unexpired) visa or residence card from a Schengen state, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus, or the United States may enter without a Dominican visa for tourism, staying up to 30 days. Most Saudi travelers who already hold one of these visas use this channel and do not need a separate Dominican visa. If you do not hold such a visa, you must apply for a Dominican tourist visa in advance. In all cases, every air or sea passenger must complete the mandatory free electronic eTicket (eticket.migracion.gob.do) before boarding, and a US$10 tourist card fee applies (normally bundled into the airfare for flights). The standard tourist admission is 30 days, extendable up to 120 days for a fee paid on departure on a sliding scale. Passports should be valid for at least six months (a temporary flexibility measure for US/Canada/UK/EU citizens runs through 31 December 2026 but does not change the visa rule for Saudi nationals).
