Saudi Arabia to Colombia visa requirements

Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders need a visa for Colombia. They are not on Colombia's visa-waiver list, but they can apply for the Visitor (V) tourist visa entirely online through the Cancilleria (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) portal, and it is issued electronically by email. This functions as an eVisa. Colombia does NOT grant visa-free entry to Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders. Saudi Arabia is not among the roughly 100+ nationalities exempted from the Colombian Visitor (V) visa for short tourist stays. Instead, Saudi nationals must obtain a Visitor (V) visa before traveling. The good news is that Colombia's visa process is fully online: applicants register on the official Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Cancilleria) visa portal, upload documents, pay fees electronically, and receive the approved visa as an electronic document by email (an eVisa), which is printed and presented on arrival. The V visa for tourism is typically issued for multiple entries, is valid up to several years (issuance discretionary, commonly up to ~2-3 years on the visa sticker/electronic grant), and permits a stay of up to 90 days per entry, extendable once for a further 90 days, with a maximum of 180 days within any 365-day period. Two fees apply: a study (processing) fee of about USD 52-58 paid at submission and a visa issuance fee of roughly USD 82-100 paid only if approved. Standard processing is about 5 business days but can extend up to 30 calendar days if documents or an interview are required. Colombia is in South America and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. There were no 2024-2026 changes adding Saudi Arabia to the visa-waiver list; recent waiver changes affected other countries (e.g. Belarus, Mongolia).
