🇸🇦Saudi Arabia🇨🇳ChinaSA-CN Saudi Arabia to China visa requirements
Visa-free for up to 30 days for Saudi ordinary passports through 31 Dec 2026. Saudi Arabian ordinary passport holders can enter mainland China visa-free for up to 30 days for business, tourism, visits to relatives or friends, exchange visits, or transit. The Saudi-specific notice put the policy into effect from 9 June 2025, and a later Chinese Embassy extension notice includes Saudi Arabia in the unilateral visa-exemption list through 24:00 on 31 December 2026. No pre-travel visa application or embassy declaration is needed if the trip stays within the permitted purposes and 30-day limit. Border officers may check the purpose of stay, so carry matching proof such as invitation letters, air tickets and accommodation bookings. The official visa-free FAQ requires a valid ordinary passport covering the intended stay; six months' validity remains a prudent airline/check-in buffer. Foreigners may complete China's arrival-card information online before travel or at the port of entry. Work, long-term study, journalism, and stays over 30 days require the appropriate visa or, after entry for sufficient reasons, a stay permit from local exit-entry authorities. Ordinary-passport visa applications in Saudi Arabia are handled by CVASC Riyadh.
