Saudi Arabia to Belarus visa requirements

No visa required. Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders can enter Belarus visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism, provided they arrive and depart through Minsk National Airport and not on flights to/from Russia. Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to Belarus for tourism and short visits of up to 30 days under Belarus's airport visa-free regime (Presidential Decree No. 8, effective since 2017 and subsequently expanded). The key condition is that both entry and exit must take place through the checkpoint at Minsk National Airport (MSQ). This visa-free channel explicitly does NOT apply to travelers arriving on flights from Russia or intending to fly onward to Russian airports, because the Belarus-Russia border has no immigration control. To qualify, the passport must be valid for at least 90 days beyond the intended departure date. Travelers must also carry proof of financial means equivalent to at least 2 Belarusian base rates per day of stay (roughly 25 euro/day, about 50 base rates for a full month) and hold a medical insurance policy covering Belarus with at least 10,000 euro of coverage. A separate single-entry Belarus eVisa (launched March 2025) exists for entry through other checkpoints, but as of May 2026 Saudi Arabia is covered by the more convenient visa-free regime, so an eVisa is generally unnecessary for a standard Minsk-airport tourist trip. Belarus is NOT in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. In February 2026, Belarus and Saudi Arabia also signed an agreement abolishing visa requirements for diplomatic, service and special passport holders, but this is separate from the ordinary-passport regime described here.
