🇸🇦Saudi Arabia🇦🇿AzerbaijanSA-AZ Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan visa requirements
Saudi Arabia ordinary passport holders can enter Azerbaijan visa-free for tourism. Under a policy effective 15 February 2026 to 15 February 2027, Saudi citizens may enter visa-free up to three times within that year, staying up to 30 days per visit. No visa or e-visa is needed for the first three entries; from the fourth entry you must obtain an ASAN e-Visa. As of 30 May 2026, holders of ordinary Saudi Arabian passports enjoy visa-free entry to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan abolished the visa requirement for ordinary passport holders of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain for the period 15 February 2026 to 15 February 2027. During this window a Saudi citizen may enter Azerbaijan without a visa up to three times, with each stay limited to a maximum of 30 days. On the fourth entry within the same period, a visa is required and the traveler must use the standard ASAN e-Visa procedure beforehand. Azerbaijan is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. The passport should be valid for at least the duration of stay (commonly recommended six months from arrival). For travelers who exceed three entries, or for any case where visa-free terms are not met, the ASAN e-Visa is fully online: standard processing is up to 3 working days for USD 25 (USD 20 state fee + USD 5 service fee), and urgent processing is within 3 hours for USD 60. The e-Visa is valid for entry within 90 days of issue and permits a single stay of up to 30 days. Travelers should carry proof of accommodation, onward/return tickets and sufficient funds, and confirm the visa-free arrangement is still active at the time of travel, as it is a fixed-term measure expiring 15 February 2027.
