Saudi Arabia to United Arab Emirates visa requirements

Saudi citizens do not need a visa to enter the UAE. As GCC citizens, they enter under GCC freedom-of-movement arrangements; the 30-day GCC-resident eVisa rule is for foreign residents of GCC countries, not Saudi citizens. Saudi Arabian citizens are GCC nationals. UAE official guidance says GCC citizens do not need a visa to enter the UAE, and the GCC Unified Economic Agreement grants citizens of member states freedom of movement, work and residence across the bloc. A Saudi citizen should not be described as receiving the UAE's standard 30-day GCC-resident eVisa or ordinary tourist visa on arrival; those 30-day/extendable GCC-resident services apply to foreigners who reside in a GCC country, not to GCC citizens themselves. Saudi citizens can travel for ordinary visits with a valid Saudi passport or GCC national ID where accepted by the carrier and port of entry, and they pay no UAE tourist visa or GCC-resident eVisa fee. For employment or long-term practical matters, UAE/GCC nationals may still need the relevant employment registration or work-permit process in the UAE, but that is not a tourist visa requirement. The UAE is outside the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS do not apply.
