🇷🇺Russian Federation🇵🇾ParaguayRU-PY Russian Federation to Paraguay visa requirements
Russian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Paraguay. They may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period, under a mutual (reciprocal) visa-waiver arrangement between Russia and Paraguay. Paraguay grants visa-free entry to holders of ordinary Russian passports for tourism and short visits of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. This is a reciprocal arrangement: Paraguay also enjoys visa-free access to Russia. No advance application, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is required for this nationality for short tourist stays. Travelers should still carry a passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay, evidence of onward or return travel, and proof of sufficient funds and accommodation, as immigration officers may request these at the Silvio Pettirossi International Airport (ASU) or other ports of entry. Note that some third-party aggregator sites display outdated or generic "visa required / visa on arrival" or reciprocity-fee information; these do not reflect the current official Paraguayan visa-exemption list, which includes Russia. Paraguay is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply to this route. Stays beyond 90 days, or travel for work, study, or residence, require the appropriate visa or permit obtained in advance through a Paraguayan consulate.
