🇷🇺Russian Federation🇵🇰PakistanRU-PK Russian Federation to Pakistan visa requirements
A Russian ordinary passport holder needs a visa to visit Pakistan for tourism. The correct route is an online eVisa applied for in advance through the Pakistan Online Visa System (POVS / NADRA) at visa.nadra.gov.pk before travel. Russian citizens are not visa-exempt for Pakistan and must obtain a visa before arrival. Russia is eligible for Pakistan's Online Visa System (only Armenia, India and Taiwan are excluded), so the practical channel for a short tourist visit is the paid online tourist eVisa applied for in advance. Important recent change: the free Visa Prior to Arrival (VPA) and visa-on-arrival facilitation that had been available to citizens of 126 countries (including Russia) since August 2024 was suspended on 1 January 2026. As of mid-2026 there is no reinstatement and no separate fast ETA/VOA channel for ordinary tourists — travelers must use the standard paid eVisa, which carries longer processing times (commonly 7-20 business days). The Pakistan tourist visa is typically valid for 3 months with single entry; fees depend on nationality (roughly USD 35-75 for most non-South-Asian nationals such as Russians), plus the small online service charge. Holders of Russian diplomatic or official passports enjoy a separate visa-free arrangement of up to 3 months, but this does NOT apply to ordinary passport holders. Apply only on the official visa.nadra.gov.pk portal; intermediary sites are unofficial.
