Russian Federation to Panama visa requirements

Russian ordinary passport holders can enter Panama visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days, subject to having a passport valid 6+ months, an onward/return ticket, and proof of funds (about USD 500). Russia is on Panama's visa-exemption list, a status granted by Panamanian executive decree on 14 April 2014. Russian ordinary passport holders may enter Panama without a visa for tourism, business, or transit and stay up to 90 days per visit. Panama is in Central America and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and the EU ETIAS authorisation do not apply to this route. There is no eVisa, visa-on-arrival, or electronic travel authorisation requirement for short tourist stays — entry is by passport stamp at the port of entry. Travelers should carry a passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay, proof of onward or return travel, evidence of accommodation, and proof of economic solvency (immigration may ask for roughly USD 500 in cash, a credit card, or equivalent). The 90-day limit covers the visit; extensions or non-tourist purposes require applying through a Panamanian consulate.
