Russian Federation to Namibia visa requirements

Russian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Namibia for tourism. Russia is on Namibia's official visa-exemption list (holders of all passports) and may stay up to 90 days within a 12-month period, visa-free. Russia (RU) ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to Namibia (NA) for tourism and short visits. Russia is explicitly listed by Namibian diplomatic missions among the countries whose nationals (holders of all passport types) are exempt from visa requirements. Permitted visa-free stay is up to 90 days within any 12-month period. Importantly, the major visa-policy change Namibia introduced on 1 April 2025 — which now requires visa-on-arrival for nationals of 30+ mostly Western and CIS countries (USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Australia, Japan and others) on grounds of diplomatic reciprocity — does NOT include Russia. Russia retains full visa-free access. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond arrival with at least three blank pages, and should carry proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds. Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required only if arriving from or transiting an endemic country. Namibia is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. No fee, no application, and no eVisa are required for a qualifying short tourist stay.
