Russian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Cambodia. The simplest route is the official tourist eVisa (Type T), which costs USD 30, grants a 30-day single-entry stay, and is approved online in about 3 business days. Visa on arrival is also available at major airports and land borders. Cambodia is not visa-free for Russian citizens. As an ordinary passport holder, you must obtain a tourist visa before or upon arrival. The recommended option is the official Cambodia eVisa (Tourist Type T), applied for entirely online at evisa.gov.kh. As of 1 January 2025 the tourist eVisa fee was reduced to USD 30 (from USD 36) to boost tourism. The eVisa grants a single entry, a 30-day stay, and the e-Visa document is valid for 3 months from the date of issue, so you should apply within 3 months of your trip. Approval typically arrives by email within about 3 business days. Alternatively, a visa on arrival (T-class, USD 30) can be obtained at the three international airports (Phnom Penh, Siem Reap/Angkor, Sihanoukville) and at certain land and sea border crossings; note the eVisa is accepted at a limited set of entry points (3 airports and several land borders), so check your specific crossing. Separately, since January 2025 all air arrivals must complete the online Cambodia e-Arrival card within 7 days before landing. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months on entry and have at least two blank pages. Cambodia is in Southeast Asia and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
