Russian Federation to Honduras visa requirements

Russian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Honduras. They may enter visa-free for tourism and stay up to 90 days, subject to the CA-4 regional rule (the 90 days is shared across Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua). Holders of an ordinary Russian Federation passport are exempt from visa requirements for short tourist visits to Honduras. Russia has been on Honduras's visa-exempt list since 2009, granting visa-free entry for up to 90 days. Entry is granted at the port of arrival on presentation of a passport valid for at least six months, proof of onward/return travel and (where requested) proof of sufficient funds. Importantly, Honduras participates in the CA-4 Border Control Agreement with Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua: the 90-day permitted stay is counted cumulatively across all four countries, so time already spent in any CA-4 nation reduces the days available in Honduras. There is no eVisa, ETA or visa-on-arrival process to complete because no visa channel is required at all. Travelers should keep an eye on entry/exit airport taxes (usually bundled into the air ticket) and ensure they do not overstay, as fines apply. Extensions of up to 30 additional days can be requested from the Honduran immigration authority (Instituto Nacional de Migracion) before the initial 90 days expire.
