Russian Federation to Guyana visa requirements

Russian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourist visits to Guyana. They may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days. As of 30 May 2026, citizens of the Russian Federation holding an ordinary passport can travel to Guyana visa-free for tourism and short visits for up to 90 days. The visa requirement was abolished on 1 August 2010, and this exemption is confirmed by the official Embassy of Guyana visa-exemption list, which expressly names the "Russian Federation for 90 days for holders of Diplomatic/Service/Official and Ordinary passports." Travelers receive an entry stamp on arrival at the immigration counter and do not apply for any visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival sticker in advance. Guyana is in South America and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. To qualify for visa-free entry, the passport should be valid for at least 6 months with at least two blank pages. Border officers may ask to see a return or onward ticket, proof of accommodation, and proof of sufficient funds. While Guyana does operate an eServices portal and a visa-on-arrival approval-letter scheme, these apply only to nationals who are NOT visa-exempt; Russian tourists do not need them. No application fee applies to the visa-free entry itself.
