Russian Federation to Fiji visa requirements

Russian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Fiji. Russia is on Fiji's visa-exempt list, and a free visitor permit of up to 4 months is granted on arrival. As of 2026, holders of an ordinary Russian Federation passport can travel to Fiji for tourism without obtaining a visa in advance. Russia appears on Fiji's official visa-exempt list (confirmed by both the Fiji Ministry of Immigration and the Fiji Ministry of Foreign Affairs). On arrival, eligible visitors receive a free Visitor Permit valid for up to four (4) months for tourism and short visits. No application, online form, or visa-on-arrival fee is required for the standard entry. Travelers must satisfy ordinary entry conditions: a passport valid for at least six months, a confirmed return or onward ticket (an actual ticket, not just a booking), proof of sufficient funds, and confirmed accommodation. The permit is granted at the discretion of the immigration officer and the period issued may be shorter than four months depending on stated plans. Stays can be extended in-country for up to two additional months (six months total) by applying to the Department of Immigration before the permit expires; the extension application fee is FJD 93.00. Fiji is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Travelers should always carry printed proof of onward travel and accommodation, as these are routinely checked at Nadi/Nausori airports.
