🇷🇺Russian Federation🇨🇲CameroonRU-CM Russian Federation to Cameroon visa requirements
A Russian ordinary passport holder needs a visa to visit Cameroon. Since 30 April 2023, Cameroon issues these exclusively as an electronic visa (eVisa) through the official portal evisacam.cm. Embassies and consulates no longer issue paper visas, and there is no visa on arrival for ordinary passports. Apply online, pay the fee, and receive a QR-coded authorization; biometrics are captured on arrival. Russia is not on Cameroon's short visa-exempt list (only Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Mali and Nigeria enjoy visa-free entry, some with passport-type limits). Russian ordinary passport holders must therefore obtain a visa. Only Russian diplomatic and service passport holders are exempt (90 days within any 6 months). Since the 2023 reform, all required visas are processed only through the centralized eVisa system at www.evisacam.cm: the applicant pre-registers an account, completes the form, uploads documents, and pays online. The short-stay tourist eVisa costs CFA 150,000 (about EUR 153 / roughly USD 245) for standard service, with results normally within 72 hours; an express option (about EUR 229) is decided within 24 hours. The short-stay category carries a validity envelope of up to 180 days and can be single or multiple entry; the authorized stay is set by the officer (commonly up to 30-90 days for tourism). Biometric enrollment and the physical visa sticker are completed at the port of entry. Apply at least 10 days before travel and no more than 6 months ahead. Passport must be valid 6+ months with proof of onward travel; yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for Cameroon.
