🇷🇺Russian Federation🇨🇮Côte d'IvoireRU-CI Russian Federation to Côte d'Ivoire visa requirements
A Russian ordinary passport holder needs a visa for Côte d'Ivoire. The standard route is an eVisa: complete the online pre-enrollment at the official SNEDAI portal (snedai.com/e-visa), pay EUR 73, and collect the biometric visa on arrival at Abidjan's Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport. Russia is not on Côte d'Ivoire's visa-exempt list. Russia is not among the nationalities exempt from Côte d'Ivoire visa requirements (exemptions cover ECOWAS members and a short list of other states; Russia is not included). Russian tourists must therefore obtain a visa before or at arrival. The most practical channel is the Côte d'Ivoire eVisa, administered through the official SNEDAI portal (snedai.com/e-visa). The process is a two-step "pre-enrollment": the traveler applies online at least 48 hours before departure, uploads a passport (valid 6+ months), a photo and supporting documents, and pays EUR 73 by card. An approved pre-enrollment confirmation is emailed; it must be printed and presented on arrival at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (Port-Bouët) in Abidjan, where biometrics are captured and the physical visa is printed and issued. The eVisa is single-entry, valid for a stay of up to 90 days, and is ONLY valid for entry through Abidjan airport — travelers entering by land or other airports must obtain a visa from an Ivorian embassy/consulate in advance. Côte d'Ivoire is in West Africa, not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry.
