Portugal to Hong Kong (SAR China) visa requirements

No visa needed. Portuguese ordinary passport holders can enter Hong Kong visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. Holders of an ordinary Portuguese passport do not need a visa to visit Hong Kong for tourism or short visits. Under the Hong Kong Immigration Department's visa-free access scheme, Portuguese nationals may enter and stay for up to 90 days on each visit. No advance application, eVisa, or electronic travel authorization is required — Hong Kong is not part of the Schengen area, so ETIAS and the Schengen 90/180 rule do not apply. On arrival, travellers should hold a passport valid for the duration of their stay (six months is recommended), proof of onward or return travel, evidence of adequate funds, and an address in Hong Kong. The visa-free permission covers tourism and ordinary short visits only; employment, study, or residence requires a separate entry visa obtained in advance.
