Poland to Tajikistan visa requirements

Polish ordinary passport holders do not need a visa for Tajikistan for tourist stays of up to 30 days. As an EU member state, Poland is on Tajikistan's unilateral visa-free list (effective 1 January 2022), so you can enter for short tourism simply with a passport valid 6+ months and proof of onward travel. Tajikistan grants Polish citizens visa-free entry for up to 30 days for tourism. Poland qualifies as one of the countries covered by Tajikistan's unilateral visa-free regime, which entered force on 1 January 2022 and now covers all EU member states plus dozens of others (52+ countries). No visa, e-visa, or visa-on-arrival is required for a stay within 30 days. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure and may be asked for proof of onward/return travel. Important: the 30-day visa-free entry does NOT itself authorize travel to the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast (GBAO / Pamir region), which requires a separate, inexpensive GBAO permit. For stays longer than 30 days, multiple entries, or business beyond simple tourism, Poland's citizens can instead use Tajikistan's official e-Visa (evisa.tj), which offers up to 60 days within a 90-day window. Tajikistan is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
