Poland to El Salvador visa requirements

No visa needed. As an EU citizen, a Polish ordinary passport holder may enter El Salvador visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days under the regional CA-4 arrangement. Poland is a European Union member state, and EU/EEA nationals are exempt from visas for short tourist or family visits to El Salvador. On arrival at San Salvador (SAL) airport or a land border, Polish travelers are granted an entry stamp under the Central America-4 (CA-4) Border Control Agreement, which covers El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. The standard grant is 90 days, and this allowance is shared across all four CA-4 countries from your first entry into the zone — not 90 days per country. El Salvador's law permits visa-exempt visitors a stay of up to 180 days, but immigration officers in practice apply the 90-day CA-4 limit; extensions can be requested locally at the Dirección General de Migración y Extranjería. EU/EEA citizens are not charged a tourist-card fee (the roughly USD 12 tourist card applies to certain other visa-exempt nationalities, not to EU passport holders). Requirements are a passport valid for at least six months beyond departure, proof of onward/return travel, and sufficient funds. El Salvador is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. No advance application, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is needed.
