Poland to Somalia visa requirements
Polish ordinary passport holders need a Somalia eVisa (eTAS) obtained online before travel. Since 1 September 2025, visa-on-arrival is no longer available to Polish travelers, and arriving without an approved eTAS leads to denied entry. Poland is not on Somalia's visa-exempt list (only Rwanda and Malaysia are visa-free). As of 1 September 2025, Somalia's Immigration and Citizenship Agency (ICA) launched a mandatory online Electronic Travel Authorization (eTAS / eVisa) system via evisa.gov.so. Most foreign nationals, including Polish citizens, must apply and obtain approval before boarding, since visa-on-arrival has been discontinued for non-exempt nationalities and there is no way to obtain authorization at the border. The standard tourist eVisa is single-entry, valid for 90 days from issue to enter, and permits a stay of up to 30 days, with a government fee of approximately USD 65. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least six months. Somalia carries severe travel-safety warnings; this guidance covers entry documentation only, not safety. Note that Somaliland operates a separate visa regime.
