Poland to Solomon Islands visa requirements

Polish ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in the Solomon Islands. Under the EU-Solomon Islands short-stay visa waiver agreement (in force since 7 October 2016), Poland nationals may stay visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period and receive a free visitor's permit stamp on arrival. As an EU member state, Poland is covered by the mutual short-stay visa waiver agreement between the European Union and the Solomon Islands, which has applied since 7 October 2016. A Polish ordinary passport holder travelling for tourism or a short visit needs no advance visa and no eVisa. On arrival at Honiara (Henderson International Airport), immigration issues a free visitor's permit allowing a stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. The traveller must hold a passport valid for at least six months with blank pages, a confirmed return or onward ticket, and evidence of sufficient funds and accommodation. The waiver covers tourism, business visits, and family visits but NOT paid employment or study. The Solomon Islands is in the Pacific and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this destination (ETIAS is a separate EU-side scheme that would affect Solomon Islanders travelling to Europe, not the reverse). If a longer or different-purpose stay is intended, a separate visa/permit from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Labour and Immigration is required.
