Poland to Rwanda visa requirements

Polish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Rwanda. The simplest route is the online eVisa (T2 tourist visa) via the official Irembo portal: single entry, 30 days, USD 50. A visa on arrival is also available to all nationalities without prior application. Poland is not visa-exempt for Rwanda. It is not a member of the African Union, Commonwealth or La Francophonie (which receive a free 30-day visa on arrival), and it is not on Rwanda's special 90-day free-visa list. Since 1 January 2018, however, Rwanda allows citizens of ALL countries to obtain a visa on arrival without prior application, so a Polish traveler can simply land and pay at the port of entry. The recommended approach is still the online eVisa (entry/tourist visa, code T2) submitted through the official Irembo government portal before departure, which guarantees a confirmed visa and faster passage through immigration. The standard single-entry tourist visa costs USD 50 and permits a stay of up to 30 days; a multiple-entry option costs USD 70. Fees are capped by law at USD 50 (single) / USD 70 (multiple). Online decisions are typically issued within about 3 business days (commonly 2-8 days). A passport valid at least 6 months with two blank pages is required. Note: Rwanda is in East Africa and is NOT in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
