Poland to Luxembourg visa requirements

No visa. As an EU citizen, a Polish passport holder can travel to Luxembourg freely with just a valid passport or national ID card, for any length of stay. Both Poland and Luxembourg are member states of the European Union and the Schengen Area. Under the EU principle of free movement of persons, Polish citizens have the right to enter, travel, work, and reside in Luxembourg without any visa. For tourism or short visits, a Polish national needs only a valid Polish passport or national identity card; no entry visa, ETIAS authorisation, or registration is required. Because both countries are inside the Schengen border-free zone, there are normally no systematic passport checks at the internal border, although carriers and authorities may still ask to see a valid travel document. The Schengen 90/180-day short-stay rule and the upcoming ETIAS travel authorisation apply only to non-EU/EEA/Swiss nationals, so they do not restrict Polish citizens. Stays beyond three months are still free as a matter of right; the only formality is that for residence over 90 days an EU citizen may need to register with the local Luxembourg commune. For a normal tourist trip there are no fees, no application, and no processing time.
