Poland to Kyrgyzstan visa requirements

Polish ordinary passport holders can visit Kyrgyzstan visa-free for tourism for up to 30 days within any 60-day period. No visa or e-visa is needed for a short stay. As of 2026, Poland is one of 55 countries (covering all EU/EEA member states, the UK, US, Japan, Australia and others) whose ordinary passport holders may enter Kyrgyzstan without a visa. Following Government Resolution No. 855 of 31 December 2025, the visa-free stay was shortened from the previous 60 days within 120 days to a maximum of 30 calendar days within any 60-day period, counted from the date of entry. Kyrgyzstan is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. For tourism or a short visit, a Polish traveler simply arrives with a valid passport; no advance visa, e-visa or registration is required for stays up to 30 days. Travelers wanting to stay longer than 30 days can either apply for an e-visa (evisa.e-gov.kg) or a consular visa. A separate border-zone permit is needed for certain restricted areas (parts of the Chinese-border regions and some areas of Issyk-Kul and Naryn provinces). The visa-free entry is for short tourist/business visits only and does not authorize work or long-term residence.
