Poland to Guinea-Bissau visa requirements

Polish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Guinea-Bissau. The most convenient option is the official eVisa applied for online before travel; a visa on arrival and a consular visa are also available. Maximum stay is 90 days, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry. Guinea-Bissau (GW) is not in the Schengen area and offers no visa-free entry to Polish citizens. Poland does not appear on Guinea-Bissau's short visa-exemption list, which is limited to ECOWAS members, Cabo Verde and a few special categories. As a result, a Polish ordinary passport holder traveling for tourism must hold a visa. The single-entry tourist visa typically allows a stay of up to 30 days and is extendable in-country toward the 90-day maximum; multiple-entry options with longer validity (90/180/365 days) are available. A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory, and the passport should be valid for at least six months with blank pages. Because visa-on-arrival practice can change without notice and consular conditions vary, the conservative, traveler-safe recommendation is to obtain the eVisa in advance.
