Poland to Estonia visa requirements

No visa. Poland and Estonia are both EU and Schengen member states, so Polish citizens enjoy EU freedom of movement and may enter Estonia visa-free with just a valid passport or national ID card. A Polish ordinary-passport holder needs no visa to visit Estonia for tourism or any short (or long) stay. As an EU citizen, you have the right of free movement throughout the European Union, of which Estonia is a member. You can enter and stay in Estonia for the first 3 months with no formalities, carrying only a valid Polish passport or national identity card. The Schengen 90/180 short-stay rule does not constrain you the way it does third-country nationals, because EU citizens have an unconditional right of residence for the first three months and may then register to stay longer. ETIAS, the EU travel authorisation launching for visa-exempt non-EU nationals (expected Q4 2026), does NOT apply to EU citizens such as Polish nationals. The Entry/Exit System (EES) also does not apply to EU citizens. In practice there are usually no systematic border checks between Poland and Estonia because both are inside the Schengen passport-free zone, but you must still carry a valid travel document at all times.
