Poland to Dominican Republic visa requirements

Polish passport holders do not need a visa for tourist trips to the Dominican Republic. As EU citizens, they enter visa-free for up to 30 days with a tourist card (US$10, now bundled into the airfare), and must complete the free online e-Ticket before arrival and departure. A Poland (PL) ordinary passport holder can travel to the Dominican Republic (DO) for tourism without a visa. Poland is a member of the European Union, and the Dominican Republic grants visa-free tourist entry to all EU member states for stays of up to 30 days, using a tourist card rather than a visa. Since April 2018 the US$10 tourist card fee has been bundled into airline ticket prices for tickets issued outside the Dominican Republic, so most arriving air travelers pay nothing separately on arrival. The only mandatory online formality is the Dominican e-Ticket (eticket.migracion.gob.do), a free electronic form combining the old immigration and customs cards; it must be completed within 72 hours of both arrival and departure, generating a QR code presented at the airport. Stays can be extended beyond 30 days for a fee, up to a total of 120 days, with a sliding-scale surcharge paid on departure for overstays beyond 30 days. Passport validity: ordinarily six months is recommended, but under a temporary measure in force from 1 December 2024 through 31 December 2026, EU (including Polish) citizens may enter with a passport valid only for the duration of their stay. The Dominican Republic is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route (ETIAS instead governs Dominican citizens visiting Europe). Travelers should also carry proof of onward/return travel, proof of sufficient funds, and a local address. Verdict: visa-free.
