Philippines to Peru visa requirements

Philippine ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Peru. The Philippines is on Peru's visa-exempt list, so you simply present a valid passport on arrival and immigration grants a short tourist stay (typically up to 90 days, with a legal maximum of 183 days within a 365-day period). Peru grants visa-free tourist entry to holders of an ordinary Philippine passport. No advance visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is required for a short visit. The maximum permitted stay is set by law at up to 183 accumulated days within any 365-day period, but in current practice Peruvian immigration officers usually grant up to 90 days within a 180-day window on first entry; the exact number of days is at the officer's discretion. Since May 2023 Peru no longer stamps passports — entry is recorded electronically via the digital Andean Migration Card (TAM Virtual / Tarjeta Andina de Migracion), which travelers can verify online on the Migraciones (Superintendencia Nacional de Migraciones) website. There is no government entry fee. Travelers should carry a passport valid for at least six months beyond arrival with at least two blank pages, proof of onward or return travel (airlines enforce this at check-in), and evidence of sufficient funds, which an immigration officer may request. Peru is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Overstays incur a daily fine payable on departure, and extensions/changes of status are handled by Migraciones inside Peru. As of 2026-05-30, no visa-on-arrival fee, eVisa, or electronic travel authorization has been introduced for Filipino tourists.
