🇵🇭Philippines🇯🇲JamaicaPH-JM Philippines to Jamaica visa requirements
Yes, a visa is required. A Philippines ordinary passport holder must obtain a Jamaican visitor visa before travel, applied for through a Jamaican Embassy, High Commission or Consulate. Jamaica has no eVisa or visa-on-arrival channel for Filipino citizens. Separately, all travelers must also complete the online Enter Jamaica (C5) immigration/customs declaration before arrival. The Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA), Jamaica's official immigration authority, lists the Philippines as a "Visa required" nationality with no visa-free or visa-on-arrival exemption. Filipino travelers must apply for a visitor (tourist) visa at the nearest Jamaican diplomatic or consular mission before departure, as Jamaica does not operate an electronic visa system; visas are issued only by an Embassy, High Commission, Consulate General or Consulate. The visitor visa generally permits a short tourist stay of up to 90 days, with the final length of stay decided by the immigration officer at the port of entry. Required documents typically include a passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay, proof of onward/return travel, accommodation details and proof of funds. The consular visa fee follows the published Jamaican fee schedule plus a consular/administrative fee (about US$20) and a return-courier fee (about US$20); the standard port-of-entry visa fee is US$100, and travelers who require a visa but arrive without one face a US$350 charge. Jamaica is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. In addition to the visa, every passenger must complete the mandatory online Enter Jamaica (C5) immigration and customs declaration in advance of travel; this is a declaration, not a visa.
