Do Philippines passport holders need a visa to visit Hong Kong?

No visa needed. Philippine ordinary passport holders can enter Hong Kong visa-free for tourism and stay up to 14 days. Holders of an ordinary Philippine passport do not need a visa to visit Hong Kong for tourism or short business trips. The Hong Kong Immigration Department grants Filipino nationals a 14-day visa-free stay. You simply present a valid passport at immigration; no advance application, arrival card, or fee is required. Your passport should be valid for at least six months on arrival, and immigration officers may ask for a return/onward ticket, proof of sufficient funds, and accommodation details. Visa-free visitors must not work (paid or unpaid), run a business, or study. If you plan to stay longer than 14 days, you must apply for a visa or entry permit before travelling. As of 16 October 2024, Hong Kong abolished the paper arrival/departure card, so there is no card to fill out on arrival.
