Philippines to Georgia visa requirements

Philippine ordinary passport holders need a visa for Georgia. The simplest option is the Georgia eVisa (e-VISA), applied for online before travel. It permits a stay of up to 30 days within a 120-day period and is issued as a multiple-entry visa. Important exception: if you already hold a valid visa or residence permit from an EU/Schengen state, the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, the GCC, or several other listed countries, you may enter Georgia visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period — no eVisa required. Georgia is not part of the Schengen Area and maintains its own independent visa policy, so the EU 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here. Filipino citizens are not on Georgia's visa-free list and must obtain a visa to enter for tourism. The recommended route is the electronic visa (eVisa), applied for through the official portal at evisa.gov.ge. For Philippine passport holders the eVisa is issued in the "120/30" category — a multiple-entry short-stay (C) visa valid for 120 days during which the holder may stay a maximum of 30 days. The state fee is USD 20 plus a 2% bank/service fee, payable online by Visa or MasterCard, and processing takes a minimum of 5 working days. There is a significant alternative channel: under Georgian Government Ordinance No. 256, holders of a valid visa or residence permit issued by any EU/EFTA/GCC member state, or by the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Japan or South Korea, may enter Georgia visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period, regardless of nationality. Many Filipinos use this exemption. Note a 2026 change: since 1 January 2026 all foreign visitors must hold travel medical insurance valid for the whole stay with minimum coverage of 30,000 GEL. Always apply only via the official portal to avoid third-party markups; passports should be valid at least 6 months with a blank page.
